1. Our Zero-Knowledge Commitment

Unlike traditional online tools, Private Summarizer operates on a "Zero-Trust" architecture. We do not have a backend database, we do not use tracking cookies, and we do not "see" the data you process.

2. Technical Execution: Local-Only

All document summarization, PII redaction, and PDF merging happens within your browser's sandboxed memory (RAM) via:

  • WebWorkers: Isolated threads that handle data without network access.
  • WebAssembly (Wasm): High-performance binary code that runs locally on your CPU.
  • SubtleCrypto API: Native browser encryption that never shares keys.

3. Data Retention

Because processing is transient, all data is purged from your device's memory the moment you close the browser tab. We have physically engineered the site to be incapable of storing your documents.

4. Third-Party Analytics

We use minimal, privacy-compliant analytics (like Cloudflare or Plausible) to monitor site traffic. These tools track that a user visited, but never what a user processed.
